Summary: If you are visiting Mt. Aso, it is a great place to stay! The food is amazing! The price is very reasonable and the location is great! The staff are very kind and reliable! Room was very comfortable. I would definitely come back :)

Summary: The open-air bath was really comfortable, and since it was a bath in the room, I was satisfied that I could relax without worrying about anyone.

Summary: I highly recommend this ryokan if you are visiting Mt Aso. We stayed at the two storied migi room with a private outdoor tub and an indoor jacuzzi. The space was immaculate and spacious. You must book the half board rate that includes the most sumptuous breakfast and dinner you will find anywhere. You will need to take a bus/train to reach the main Aso area but that we no issue for us. Every staff we met extended the highest hospitality we ever experienced.
