Summary: Trunk Road Hotel is a basic roadside motel, so I wasn't expecting a luxury experience; but the room was clean, the connectivity was excellent, and I had no problems with my stay. My only complaint (and it's quite minor) is that I wish the lighting in the room had been better; it was adequate, but the nook between the sleeping area and the bathroom was almost completely dark-- not helpful when that's where the luggage bench was...

Summary: This is a lovely, well maintained little motel next to a great pub, a gas station and a breakfast spot. As a traveller I expect very little, but this place delivers beyond expectations! It’s great value for money. Clean rooms, all the basics, nice staff and great location for someone driving through. 10/10 No wonder it was completely full and will surely remain that way if they keep doing what they’re doing.

Summary: This is a no frills motel on the outskirts of town, but it well maintained and clean. The rooms seemed to be recently renovated and there’s an exhaust fan in the bathroom with tile in the shower. I had the option at check in to pay in the loonie or the US dollar on my card, which I appreciated.

Summary: I always stay at this hotel en route to Thunder Bay -- the room is clean and quiet, the bed is comfortable and the hotel is convenient to downtown and stores. Overall, the hotel is very well-maintained and it is easy to check in and check out.

Summary: The checking in process was little strange...the credit debt machine would decline the trans before inserting my card...then ended up getting my locked. The room very spacious clean, was able to park in front of room.
