Positive: EVERYTHING! Claudia is the loveliest, and this is the best breakfast I've had in a B&B in my life (and I've stayed in a lot of B&Bs around the world!)! Claudia's homemade granola is out of this world. This property is stunningly beautiful and well kept, and the location cannot be beat.

Negative: Nothing at all, everything was perfect. Check in was very easy, even though I arrived after the check in window (ensure you alert the property before your arrival if this is the case!).

Positive: Lovely property close to town but a quiet and peaceful getaway. Hosts, Claudia and Tyrone have done a great job with this. Great breakfast, beautifully laid out and lots of space to lounge and read. Bedrooms impeccably clean ,well supplied and very comfortable bed. And did I mention the farm family? Beautiful well cared for goats and alpacas for your entertainment. Would highly recommend.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: Lovely property close to town but a real getaway into the rural part of San Juan Island.

Positive: Breakfast was plentiful. Enjoyed visiting other couples staying there. Feeding the alpacas and goats was an unexpected treat. Location is rural, but close enough to downtown dining and amenities. Room was clean comfortable.

Positive: The location was wonderful, only a mile or two from town, located on a beautiful property with grass, pond, flowers, views, trees, birds, pigmy goats and alpacas. There are many places to sit around the property, a deck off the kitchen, two separate areas in the house with comfy chairs to sit and read or converse with other guests. There are books to read, board games to play. The hosts, Claudia and Tyrone are very friendly and accommodating. They shared information about things to see in Friday Harbor and other locations. Breakfast was great with a variety of things to eat with coffee and juices available every morning. Also a small refrigerator for guests to share. And there was an endless supply of freshly cooked cookies and/or brownies each day for snacking.

Negative: There was no down side to our stay at the Trumpeter Inn and we are looking forward to returning next year!

Summary: A relaxing and comfortable stay that exceeded our expectations.
