Positive: We liked the location, it was a perfect stopping point during our holiday travel. It’s in close proximity to stores, which is helpful when traveling with young children because we are always forgetting something.

Negative: There was nothing to dislike during our stay, the staff was great.

Positive: The location was just a halfway point on my commute from VA to NJ for a funeral. I was frankly surprise that the hotel was so busy on an autumn weekend. The staff were simply perfect. At checkout, I told the staff member that I loved the new concept of the Tru hotel. She beamed. She had real pride in her work! I said, it must be because you love it or it couldn't be this awesome. She said, "We do love it!" And the cleaning staff was ON TARGET, friendly and helpful. The room was spotless.

Negative: The bedding was not impressive. The mattress was sagging down at the top where everyone must sit to watch TV. The pillows were super flat. (People have different tastes in bedding, but I don't think anyone would have liked those 2 issues.) Personally, I like to have a heavy blanket on me and there was no extra blanket available.

Summary: Women must be leading this division reflecting practicality & comfort for families & business ;-)

Positive: Clean and comfortable room;, pretty decent breakfast options; love the non-carperted flooring throughout the room. Very nice first time experience with Tru by Hilton.

Negative: Location was farther away from what I needed but it was in an obviously popular spot with a Walgreens, Walmart , Dunkin, and Starbucks nearby (and more!) . So, it worked out well in the end.

Positive: Location is convenient but the entrance to the hotel is not user friendly as it was misleading as it requires going around through other properties while the hotel next door has an entrance from the road but the two properties are not connected. Room is spacious. Breakfast buffet has good variety, well maintained and clean, adequate staffing. Lobby have a convenient shop for snacks and beverages available for purchase. Large lobby TV, great for watching. Lively cheerful color throughout property, reminiscent of IKEA.

Negative: Bathroom wallpaper peeling. Blinds on the window, tear on the side. Common lobby area, trash cans not emptied. Evening beverage station, not refilled. Hot water urn tasted of coffee.

Summary: Overall a happy short stay, close to area attractions and away from crowd.
