Positive: The room was as described. Room was plenty large. Location was great.

Negative: Paper thin walls. I was kept up for hours from the people in the apartment above me due to creaking floors and other noise.

Summary: Great location. Not a good night’s sleep.

Positive: WiFi was super fast. Perfect location, obviously. In the morning just start walking up the mountain or take the shuttle. Nice to get free parking while everyone else has to pay for P2, so that offsets the expensive lodging rate a little, in addition to saving time and possibly not getting a parking spot. Beautiful lake, and right next to Trolltunga Active, where you can get gear and plan everything.

Negative: The tile grout in the bathroom needs to be cleaned or replaced. But not a huge issue. The welcome message I received the day before check in was a little confusing, because it erroneously stated that there is a fee to drive from P1 to P2. I think they meant P2 to P3, because P1 to P2 is a free drive.

Positive: 1. The location is excellent and perfectly matched for Trolltunga hike. 2. Comfy beds and linen. 3. The bold pros is a free parking place for one car per room. So we saved for parking on P2 (500 NOK).

Negative: 1. The sound insulation in the house is poor. Even earplugs don't help. Look, this is an important detail when you are going to spend 10-12 hours in the mountains and you need to get quality rest before and after climbing to Trolltunga. 2. There isn't a hairdryer, I had to sleep with a wet hair, and my hair even didn't dry until the morning. 3. The area around the house needs maintenance: in comparison with the neighbor’s house, it looked like an abandoned house. As a wish, it would be nice to decorate the outdoor seating area with a table and chairs.
