Positive: The apartment was very clean, great facilities and close to town. The bedrooms were lovely and big.

Negative: The stairs were challenging with bags, and the couches were very uncomfortable.

Positive: We used this as the base for a quick stopover on a long drive. It was perfect for our needs - centrally located so that we could explore, but with everything we needed to have a relaxed meal ‘home from home’. There are lots of stairs, which would have been problematic when the children were younger, but was fine for our needs now - they loved the mezzanine bedroom.

Negative: Really late check-in of 5pm as standard with the code to access the apartment only provided at this point (we missed this when booking). Then lots of codes followed by driving off to the car park with pass. Then doing it all again at check out which was not worth the hassle for a one night stay. But the biggest problem was the heat - average August temperature and the top floor double bed in particular was unbearable to sleep in.

Positive: Location was fantastic and apartment was very nice.

Negative: Had to get into the room first to collect the Parking Pass, which meant we had to park the car then go to the room. We ended up paying for parking (one night only) rather than leaving the garage and reentering with the pass. Garage was convenient, but extremely tight and difficult to park car without scraping a pillar. Wish we had known more details before we booked.

Summary: Great location, fantastic apartment. Parking available but difficult.

Positive: Spacious, excellent position in the city, parking very useful. Excellent kitchen and bathroom. One bedroom perfect.

Negative: Second double bedroom a mezzanine with very steep stairs and need to duck down to avoid hitting your head. This should be mentioned in description as could be problematic for less agile visitors.

Positive: Perfect location for the centre of Reims, parking in a nearby car park was included. Let as a self-catering apartment, it had every cooking utensil, pan, casserole dish anyone could need, plus a good-sized fridge freezer. Boulangerie just across the road for fresh bread and croissants every morning. The beds were very comfortable and clean.

Negative: As with almost every self-catering apartment we have stayed in, whilst there was everything necessary to cook any food, there was little free space to actually store food basics. The fridge and freezer were excellent for fresh food, but nobody ever thinks to leave some cupboard space to store dry goods, tins, packets, etc.

Summary: A lovely central apartment, beautifully fitted out.
