Summary: This place is really good for a family or friends. Except for few things (which can be taken care of before arrival) everything is perfect. Nice place to relax by the lake.

Summary: Check in was easy. I picked this property because it had a waterfront view, pool, and little to no steps throughout the property for my mom to use a walker. You can tell the property has been renovated but still needs some work. The water pressure in the showers weren’t great, the kitchen sink faucet sprays everywhere. The ice maker doesn’t work. They do have some kitchen utensils and cookware but not much and are old. (Glad I took some of mine) Tons of counter space made prepping meals easy! Love the open floor plan. The view is nice and we enjoyed looking out the windows while we ate. Tons of lighting throughout the place except the garage and front/back patio. The back patio did have some string lights you can plug in. There was a lot of wasps nests built around each entry door, under the patio, eaves, and fence. If you have a dog I would be careful with the gaps on the chain link fence as they could go into the neighbors yard. There was also a yellow jacket nest in the palm bushes, my dog was sniffing around and we started to see some come out the bush we were able to pull him away before they could attack. Pool was a little mucky and we couldn’t work the spa. There was spiders and webs throughout the home. Saw earwigs and ants daily. After walking the home for about 4-6 hours our socks were dirty. (Even though the cleaner just left) There really needs to be a good deep clean on the home. Overall, would come back with wasp spray and a mop.

Summary: We did not want to stay in Houston with all of the hustle and bustle and we are so glad we stayed here. Very quiet and was great to hear the waves while in the pool. Houston was only about 45 minutes away.

Summary: The house was pretty much like the pictures. We loved the spacious living, kitchen, dining areas! Though the kitchen isn’t stock with much, we managed with what dishes and utensils that were there or we went to dollar general 6 miles away and bought what we needed. We were visiting friends just down the road in another neighborhood, so the location was perfect for us. If the issues we discussed with the property management that need attention are taken care of, we would love stay there again.

Summary: We chose this property for our family getaway with our daughters and grandkids because of the location and the swimming pool. It's fun for everyone to relax around the pool, eat outside, and just hang out together. The house fit our needs with the number of beds and the layout was nice. However, we encountered several problems during our stay. We could not get the jacuzzi to heat properly, one of the toilet's handle kept falling off when you flushed, the dishwasher, the ice maker, and the water on the refrigerator door did not work. I messaged the host about the jacuzzi, but there was no response. Since it wasn't an emergency, I decided to let it go. But our last night at the property, the water level in the pool and jacuzzi started dropping. Their was a huge leak in the pool equipment on the side of the house and water was spraying out, flooding the neighbor's yard. I called the host to let her know, and the call went to voicemail, so I left a message. I called the other host's number, and that call also went straight to voicemail. I then received a text asking how he could help me. I told him there was a water leak at his property, so then he called me. I understand that things break. That's just part of life. But my biggest complaint is the non-responsiveness of the hosts. I had difficulty getting in touch with them regarding check-in information and then again when we were staying at the property. Because of this, I would not stay there again.

Summary: Lots of things not working properly or as anticipated at this property. We picked this rental because we wanted a heated pool but the heater for the pool didn’t start working until the last day and after lots of back and forth with the property manager and my husband having to do manually figure it out. They did give us a little refund which was appreciated but still put a damper on the trip. No lights out front which feels very unsafe when pulling up to.the house and front door. Lights out back not working either with the string lights or pool lights. One toilet didn’t work as we had to pour water in the tank to flush it. Decor and design is nice but needs some TLCon the finishes and to ensure pool is heated properly. Neighborhood is also sketchy with lots of run down houses and there is not much around here.
