Positive: The location was great with lovely views of the fields across the road and peaceful rural walks. What is so spectacular is the two massive volcanoes on either side of the town. The town’s people are very friendly and communicative. There’s a great mini grocery shop just 50 meters from the homestay. Breakfast was fine. Your hostess is extremely pleasant and helpful. The best value homestay in Indonesia!

Negative: Nothing to complain about, a great facility at a bargain price.

Summary: Friendly, clean and comfortable family home where you can spend a peaceful stay. I love the food!

Positive: Feels like visiting my own grandma/grandpa house. The private room, kitchen, living room or event hot shower were amazing. I took bike tour solo and everything within reach, good place to witness sunset and sunrise. Lets mee again, pakde and budhe

Positive: The place is quite and we can enjoy the paddy fields accoss our homestay. Surrounding neighbors are friendly. Owner really know how to keep the house very clean. Homestay owner (Trevor) was very friendly & welcoming in serving us.

Positive: Trevor and Ida are lovely people who treat you like a guest instead of a customer. We had interesting conversations with them, especially with Trevor about his life on Java as a foreigner. They made breakfast according to what we liked (I had oats with fruits, my partner toast, egg and sausage) and even invited us for homemade dinner one evening. The hospitality of Trevor and Ida alone should be enough to convince you to stay at their homestay! If not, we can add that the room itself is comfortable and clean and the western shared bathroom has a shower with hot water, soap and shampoo. The surroundings are beautiful and the homestay is a good base to visit (amongst others) the Dieng plateau. We would definitely recommend this homestay!
