Positive: I paid $100 for a birthday surprise which I did leave up to them to decide. When we got there it was a happy birthday sign, balloons and chocolates, gummi lollies, pringles and BBQ shapes which was nice. The alcohol that was provided wasn't appropriate as we were there on a whiskey holiday but I have contacted the property privately to discuss this. Everything else was great, next time I would be more specific before asking the hosts to organise without me confirming the choices.

Positive: Ability to self cater, outside deck area, expansive bush view, comfortable space and TV for evening
Negative: Very hot ( had a couple of very hot days) and air con found it difficult to cool down even after leaving windows open till early evening. Very warm to sleep - actually I couldn’t. Would be good to have separate aircon unit in bedroom.
Summary: This is our second time we have stayed here, so that says it all.

Positive: Location was pure serenity. The apartment was perched on the side of a hill overlooking the Tamer River and surrounding hills and valleys. At night all we could see were thousands of bright stars. The apartment was well appointed with everything you need including a washer/dryer. The Tamer Ridge winery and gin distillation are on site. We had a lovely afternoon having a bottle of wine and sharing a cheese platter.

Positive: Wildlife was amazing as well of the view over the River Tamar. The views at night with the moon light over the river were gorgeous. Highly recommend the Tamar Ridge Cellar Door located at the property.
Negative: Wasn't really clean. We had to sweep all the crumbs and hair off the floors. The spilt system didn't work, and bathroom accessories were not full. Just be mindful if you're booking through booking.com, etc, that you're not getting charged twice for cleaning and service fees. Appreciated the refund, though.
