Positive: We spent three unforgettable days at TreeHouse Tulum H2Ojos, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The property is beautifully designed and blends perfectly into the surrounding jungle. Waking up to the sounds of nature and falling asleep accompanied by the chorus of the jungle was a truly magical experience. The wildlife around the property is incredible, and we spotted several species of birds and even monkeys, all without leaving the grounds. If you're looking to immerse yourself in nature without sacrificing comfort, this is the perfect place! We also really appreciated the lodge's commitment to sustainability. Electricity is generated through solar panels, and they purify their own water, making it possible to enjoy a luxurious stay while respecting the environment. The rooms are beautifully finished, with exceptional attention to detail. Everything feels thoughtfully designed, combining comfort, elegance, and a deep connection with nature. What made our stay even more special were the hosts: Mauricio and his father Julian. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about helping their guests make the most of the area. They provided invaluable advice about tours and activities and went above and beyond to help us organise and book everything we wanted to do. We wholeheartedly recommend TreeHouse H2OOjos to anyone looking for a unique experience that combines luxury, sustainability, and the beauty of the jungle. We would return in a heartbeat!
Negative: Everything was perfect!
Summary: Amazing place and wonderful hosts!

Positive: Brilliant find. Such a great experience to be in the natural world, coming eye to eye with exotic birds and having a hammock up high in the quiet woodland. The treehouse was near cenotes and a cafe but also away from any hustle and bustle. So very much preferable to huge, anonymous hotels that abound in the area . The treehouse itself was really stylishly kitted out with a comfy bed and good kitchen and bathroom. Great nature experiences at Akumal and bird watching near Sian Ka'an and interesting Maya pyramids at Tulum and Coba Julian was an exceptionally helpful host
Negative: It was a little hot at night but the fly screens meant it was possible to improve airflow through the house with open windows.
Summary: Nature and style

Positive: Fabulous experience. The location was not at all remote, but made us feel like we were in the heart of the jungle, close to many of the best cenotes. Potable water from the tap was a huge bonus, and the four-legged super friendly hostess was a treat.

Positive: This place is an amazing treehouse near to some beautiful cenotes and away from the busy town so perfect to unwind and relax. Great if you want to spot wildlife from the observation tower and be in nature. The hosts couldn’t be more attentive - they will answer any questions and helping to book any activities you would like.
Negative: Nothing - this place is perfect.
Summary: Unwind and relax on the hammock in the jungle.

Positive: The treehouse was a marvel to look at with all the beautiful wood design. The sunrise/sunset views and bird watching from the observatory were incredible, as well as the peaceful nature sounds while swinging in the hammock up there. The host was very communicative and shared lots of stories about the cenotes in the area, the wildlife and insects, and was a patient driver with our excursion into Tulum. We would come back again and highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and a quiet escape from society.
Negative: We wish the restaurant next door was open later for supper, but that was out of the host's control and there is a little tienda store where you can get ingredients to make good meals at the treehouse. The kitchen amenities were high quality and easy to make any kind of meal. If we needed anything extra, the host was happy to assist where he could. We also struggled with the heat at night, but if you take a cold shower before bed it helps. Also wish we brought stronger bug spray to prevent all the bites, again not the host's fault - we know better for next time!
Summary: Treehouse paradise!

Positive: We loved staying here as a family with a 6 year old and 4 yr old twins. It was a bit of adventure in the jungle for us! We had 2 nights here and spent one whole day just over the road at the Dos Ojos cenote. You can easily spend the whole day here and pop back for lunch. The host was fantastic, he gave us a tortilla making set and showed my girls how to make them. You are 3km from the main road on a quiet track - both me and my husband used the opportunity to go a cool-ish run in the morning. A stay in the jungle but close to Tulum.
Negative: If you wanted to go out for dinner, you'd have to drive as the restaurant next door closes at 4.30pm. We cooked in every evening as the amenities were good. Also, note there is no AC, there are some good fans but worth noting!

Positive: Great place! The bird tower next to Treehouse was super. We woke up with the sun and had breakfast up there. The Host was so helpfull with transpotation and took us where we needed to go, otherwise we should have rented a car. Small tip to have there is to have earplugs for the night: sound from next door might disturb during the night.

Positive: We were on vacation in Quintana Roo for a week, we rented a car and we wanted a trip to discover this part of the world. Family of 3 with a 4 years old, this spot was definitely an adventure. We rented the treehouse for two nights and we absolutely loved it. It’s an off grid, in the jungle, surrounded by nature and cenotes, wild animals, hammock, relaxing sounds to go to sleep. Julian was above and beyond a great host and made sure we had everything we needed and more. He had games and books for the little one, let us use snorkel equipment, he even brought me some pain killers when I expressed I had strong pain in my shoulder (which was caused by a prior event back home). We loved hanging out on the deck in the hammock. My son didn’t want to leave the treehouse!
Negative: The only things that is less enjoyable, and it comes with being in the middle of the jungle and nothing can change this, is that the mosquitoes were agressive at night even with the mosquito net on the bed. My boy who moves a little at night, at one point, had his forehead against the net and got 14 fly bites on the forehead.
Summary: It was a very rich experience!
