Positive: Room has old furniture but was clean and had a wonderful view on Shimla. Also to be noted that the hotel is situated on Mall Road and there is no vehicles. So you have to cater to take the tourism lift and climb stairs. Hotel has a good restaurant also.

Positive: The hotel is in a good location once you've reached it. It was a long walk from the bus station but all local sites are within an easy walk from the hotel. The reception staff were very helpful.

Negative: The room was cold and coming in from a rainy night it wasn't good. Clothes were still damp the next day. Also, the bathroom had some kind of open vent opening up to the inside of the hotel meaning everything happening in the corridor or other rooms could be heard.

Summary: Great location and pleasant staff make this a good place for a short stay
