Positive: The cottage was beautiful and had everything you needed to have a relaxing stay. Located in a beautiful private game reserve that us safe and has loads of animals was an absolute delight. Animals are at your door step. The host, Alta was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to make you feel welcome. She even went so far as to give us recommendations of nearby attractions and restaurants. We truly enjoyed our stay...

Negative: We had the most amazing time together at Tranquility house. Alta and Robbie were extremely warm and hospitable. We wanted for nothing in their luxurious home. Alta has given attention to detail. We had the most luxurious items at our disposal. There were animals on our doorstep. We enjoyed the most magnificent views. Highly recommended.

Positive: Very quiet, beautiful surroundings in nature. Wild animals everywhere. Hot tub was great. Kitchen was very well equipped. Hosts checked in regularly during our stay and helped before hand to suggest good activities and places to visit. Our kids loved it!

Positive: We loved this beautiful and private house with its magnificent views of bush, wildlife and birdlife. We especially enjoyed the glorious sunsets and stargazing from the veranda and had the option of doing so from the fire-driven hot tub. A fire pit is also located below. The owners provided wood for the barbecue and tub. The house has two very spacious bedrooms - both with bathrooms with tubs and walk-in showers - and super comfortable beds. The kitchen is big and well stocked with nearly every amenity including an ice maker. The owners warned us of a pot-hole ridden kilometre or so of road to the house, but it was easily nagivated with a regular car. The town of Winterton is about 10-15 minutes' drive and has a couple of stores if you run short of self-catering supplies. Wine and beer is also available in the house and payable via an honesty box. Details of trail walks and runs are also in the house for more athletic types. Cathedral Peak Wine Estate is 5 minutes away for wine tastings and food. Loved our stay!

Positive: We loved everything about the place. There are so many things in the house that make the property very practical. For example, there was an ice maker, coffee machine with flavors, soda stream, microwave, 2 fridges, washing machine and detergent, lunchboxes, plates, cutlery, smart tv, WiFi, puzzles, a dart board, braai area with everything you need, camp chairs and of course the star of the show - the Kolkol Hottub! I could keep counting forever
Negative: Nothing at all! Perhaps they could add a game of 30 seconds but this is not a complaint of any sort. There is more than enough to do
Summary: Tranquility is exactly what we got 😊 What a way to start off the year!
