Positive: Large Space pool table hot tub since weather was a bit cold .

Negative: I personally think outside grounds need some love and money put into keeping it up to date new umbrellas furniture/patio sets pressure washed painted or stained . Gravel weeded and blower used. Glass railings washed .

Positive: Nigel, the host, was amazing. Was always there when you needed him and answered within minutes. If you didn't need him, you barely noticed him. The view was incredible, it was so serene and relaxing, the name definitely suits it. We watched the seals swimming and the humming birds feeding right from the hot tub. The rooms were fantastic, everything you need. Even in the winter, the weather was great and the sun was brightly shining. Lots of privacy available, even if someone was in the other suite, the 4-5 tiers on the deck ensure you can find privacy

Negative: The only thing we were not a fan of was how soft the beds were. They are very soft and cozy, so for most it would be great, but if you like firm beds, then you may get a sore back, the good news is the hot tub is only steps away.

Summary: The most relaxing place on earth!!! - 100% going back, Nigel was almost as amazing as the view!!

Positive: Great position with lovely views overlooking the water. The apartment itself was clean & comfortable & well - equipped.

Negative: A general feeling that the outside areas are not being cleaned and maintained properly. Apartment decking wood is beginning to rot, a lot of tree debris and leaves need to be cleared / swept up .

Summary: Lovely apartment with great views but outside areas need attention.

Positive: Room was spacious with small eating/sitting area, large bathroom with soaking tub and a nice separate shower. The hot tub was a nice touch w robes, towels and slippers provided. Room included Keurig coffee maker w plenty of coffee pods, microwave and mini fridge . Best of all was the free use of water craft on the dock including single and double kayaks, paddle boards and included PFDs/ paddles- beautiful place to paddle from at any time of day or night including bioluminescence paddles at night within meters of the dock. Swimming was pleasant from the dock and it is also a great place to enjoy sunsets and stargazing as the location is far enough away from most of the lights of Sechelt.

Negative: The landscape around the property was a bit messy and needed some attention. The location was a good 15+ minute drive outside of town and so grocery and restaurant runs were necessary.( This could be also an advantage for the reasons noted above)

Summary: Wonderful stay in a beautiful location away from town with advantage of watercraft use included.

Negative: No nearby facilities. Had to drive 10-kn to nearest restaurant or grocery. Path to room was overgrown. Property was not convenient for our interests in sightseeing. Recommend staying in one of the suncoast cities.

Positive: This was our second stay at Tranquility Bay Inn, as always the location is beautiful, quite and unique. The host Nigel is amazing and we cant wait to come back again next year. We absolutely love our favorite 'home away from home"

Positive: The oceanfront was spectacular, so many neat creatures to see and the most incredible views. Great weather, very quiet setting to enjoy peace and the Sunshine Coast area was great for exploring. There is a nice public beach 2 min walk away. We really enjoyed the soaker tub, and sitting on the under deck patio and sipping coffee.

Negative: The property is spectacular but needs some TLC and tidying up. There were cobwebs everywhere and the very pretty gardens were wild and overgrown into the paths. The various seating areas overlooking the water were dirty and unkempt so we didn't use. The dock squeaks loudly, and no shade or umbrella made it very uncomfortable in the sun. Stair handrails, tables and dock chairs need repairs. The suite itself could use a deep detailed cleaning (dirty door glass and dusty fans, soiled carpet, washroom) First impressions mean a lot and I was disappointed-however, this place has a ton of potential and the host was very friendly.
