Summary: We had a wonderful week at this home. The house, located on a hill in a quiet neighborhood, is large, very unique, and was perfect for our family’s vacation. The many levels of this house gave all of us space to relax on our own or join the family activities in the den, dining room, or the huge game room. The pool table and grand piano in the game room provided hours of fun. The house is full of windows, letting in lots of light and allowing us to always catch those pretty views. The primary bedroom on the top floor is amazing! It’s a perfect spot to sit and just take in the view.The kitchen is well equipped, although we couldn’t find a large lobster pot, and there was no grill on the property.There is so much to do just a short driving distance from the house, but it’s also a good starting point for some nice bike rides and walks.Our grandchildren said, “this was the best house we’ve ever been to.”Thank you Z, James, and Sam!

Summary: This was a unique home in a quiet kittery neighborhood. My family was in town for a Friday wedding and enjoyed relaxing together at this home through weekend. Lots of different spaces to visit together or separate for quiet reading. Bedrooms are removed from gathering spots.

Summary: The house is a good value and is very spacious. The owner responds quickly to messages and also brought over more hairdryers. However note that there are air conditioners in only 3 of the 5 bedrooms. The single bedroom has neither AC nor a window that opens. The view was pretty but not what I was expecting from the photos. I realize now that the photos were taken when there were no leaves on the trees and perhaps when the trees were much smaller. The photos show much more of a water view than there actually was from the lower two floors. There is a beautiful view from the third floor bedroom, which is huge. The current view is pretty with trees and some water, just not what I was expecting. The pictures also showed a patio table and chairs, but there was only a table outside when we were there. We were there an early June when the weather had been cold so perhaps the chairs will be forthcoming. The first floor layout is interesting in that there are about five stairs from the pool table room to the sunroom and then another five stairs from the sunroom to the kitchen area. The sunroom is full of beautiful kitchen plants and several were in bloom.

Summary: My husband grew up in the area and I’ve walked by this house many times on our visits to Maine so I was excited to find this on VRBO. The house was perfect and roomy for my husband and I and our three adult children. The house was extremely clean and the furnishings were beautiful and unique. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved the music room and the views were incredible. Would definitely book again.

Summary: Our family had an amazing, memorable stay at this property for Thanksgiving. My husband and I brought our two families together for a week away for the holiday, and the house was perfect. Tons of beds and baths for everyone to get their own space, great play space for the kids, and a well-stocked kitchen perfect for family breakfasts and a full Thanksgiving feast. We would absolutely rent here again!
