Positive: Kanil was a fantastic host! He was informative and made great recommendations. Definitely get the breakfast, it was filling and a lovely way to experience local dishes. The pictures on the website does not do it justice, sitting on the balcony having a coffee with the view was a highlight for us.
Summary: Tranquil was the vibe and it’s not surprising there’s a 10/10 rating for this apartment.

Positive: Had an absolutely delightful stay at the Tranquil Quarter. Outstanding accommodation with everything you need to relax and settle into Kandy life, including a home cooked breakfast, kitchen facilities and laundry. Kanil and his family were very kind and hospitable, giving us local recommendations and making sure we felt at home. I particularly loved being close to the Udawatta Kele Sanctuary which was perfect for a morning walk and lizard spotting! 10/10 recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful and welcoming stay in Kandy. Best accommodation we have stayed at in Sri Lanka- thank you!

Positive: The host Kanil was extremely helpful. The place is wonderful, the apartment is super clean and the view from the balcony is beautiful. This was the best place we stayed at in Sri Lanka.

Positive: The best accommodation in Sri Lanka! Don't look for something else. This is what you want! Believe me. :) Kanil is a superhost and the apartment is soo comfortable, there is completely everything you need.

Positive: If you are looking for a place to stay in Kandy, look no further... This is the best, most luxurious, value-for-money you can find. Kanil and his family are super friendly and do everything to make you as comfortable as can be. From free pickup and drop off to the apartment, best places to eat and visit and the most delicious breakfast in the morning. The apartment is huge with a kitchen, a cozy lounge with TV, bathroom with great shower and comfy bed. Everything is super clean and very cosy decorated. It has a very nice balcony with a great view. It's located in a more quiet part of Kandy (and you will appreciate that, trust me), but downtown is only less than 15 min nearby by tuktuk. Don't hesitate, book this!

Positive: Will not hesitate to book again and wish we had stayed longer! This was the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka and we miss it already. It was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully furnished, you'd find everything you would need for a cosy and comfortable stay. What also really stood out was Kanil and his family, who are just the most hospitable hosts who made us feel even more at ease. Their home made breakfast was also very hearty and delicious!

Positive: I cannot speak highly enough about both the facility and the manager. The apartment is very well appointed, clean, comfortable, classy, and beautiful. We booked an extra night as soon as we could just to extend our time there. The manager, Kanil* is an absolute gem as is his family. I wish them all the best and I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
Negative: The location is a bit out-of-the-way; this is not really a "bad" thing as the location is intentionally secluded and outside of town; this contributes to the cozy and nature-y feel. But just know that you will need transport into town (but it is only like 7 minutes or so). Again, not a negative, just something that naturally comes with choosing a place off the beaten path. The plus side is that the place feels so tucked into the hills and river and so local and charming.
Summary: This place is absolutely excellent.

Positive: If I could rate this 1000/10 I would! Kanil was an exceptional host who goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. He also takes additional steps to make sure that you arrive safe. It’s a very peaceful hideout and perfect if you want to live in a more secluded area. Facilities are all clean and in top condition.
Negative: I recommend arriving by car/tuktuk as it’s a but secluded
Summary: Superb stay in the middle of Sri Lanka!
