Positive: とても親切なホストファミリー。最高のホスピタリティ。気が利いて、近場の観光スポットにもトゥクトゥクで連れてってくれます（状況による）。 冷房もガッツリ効いてて良いです。 朝食もローカル感がありなかなか良いです。庭のテラスでサーブしてくれます。庭の雰囲気も良く、気持ちが良い。 洗濯機はないが、家の裏側で手洗い洗濯と物干しレールはあって、天日干しできる。踏み洗いをした。砂埃とかは付かない。楽しい良い経験。 ロケーションもレストランエリアから徒歩5分くらいでアクセス良し。
Negative: 玄関の扉の間からアリやヤモリが少し入りがちですが、経験上スリランカの宿ではどこでもあり得る気がします。

Positive: Beautiful new guesthouse in calm area 2 min walk to coffees and restaurants. Confortable and clean with green garden with birds. View on Lion’s rock. Hosts were very welcoming, available to arrange tuktuk transfers, laundry, money exchange and taxi to next location at a reasonnable price. They can also arrange temple visits, ruins and safari. Best homemade breakfasts. I highly recommend, this is the place to stay if you visit Sigiriya! Thank you

Positive: Staying at Tranquil Guest in Sigiriya has been our most enjoyable experience over our month in Sri Lanka. Two new ground floor villas exceeded our expectations and were more than good value for money. The room was fresh, appealing and spacious. The wet room shower functioned well with a terrific shower and plenty of hot water if you want it. There is a smaller road leading to the property, but it all becomes obvious once you arrive. The location was perfect. Being on the edge of the UNESCO sight you can see Lion Rock through the trees near the property. You can walk to the village easily or to the nearby lake, but our accommodating host Banda was genuinely happy to take us everywhere, free of charge in his tuk tuk. On one tour round the lake and canal we saw a resting crocodile quite closeup. He also spotted roadside elephants with the largest bull elephant I have seen. The food here was amazing. Banda’s wife Dinu is a superb traditional cook using the freshest of ingredients. My wife and I thought it was an honour to meet two such beautiful people. They made this our most meaningful cultural experience in Sri Lanka. You can become part of Sigiriya for a short time. Tranquil Guest is perfect for most people’s two to three day stays. Do yourself a favour - make a booking. We loved it.

Positive: The stay was exceptional . The owners Banda & Dino went out of their want to accommodate me . The breakfast was huge , far too much for one person . Banda arranged transport around the town , we did laundry , I climbed the rock , he took me there & told me where to go . We did an excellent game drive & saw over 100 elephants + an eagle . The next day we drove to Polonnaruwa ( arranged by Banda) & I explored the ancient ruins . The accommodation is very spacious & brand new & located with in very easy walking distance of the restaurants.
Negative: Nothing it beat all my expectations

Positive: I really can’t recommend Tranquil Guest highly enough! The owners truly could not have done any more to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. They have recently opened and have thought of everything. Both the Western breakfast and the local breakfast were fantastic. Banda joined us on our elephant safari and also took us to some panoramic local spots - his knowledge of the wildlife made the whole experience interesting and highly enjoyable. The room itself was spotless and very comfortable.
Negative: I really can’t find any faults with it!
Summary: Incredible value from a really lovely couple - highly recommended!

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at Tranquil Guest! Banda and Dinu are truly wonderful hosts who are very welcoming, caring and humble. The beautiful guesthouse is new and is situated in a lovely garden with views of Sigiriya Rock. The room is spacious with a super comfy bed, fridge, kettle and lovely big bathroom. The shower is awesome! They have really thought about travellers needs. The location is fantastic and close to Pidurangala and Sigiriya Rock. Banda is a very knowledgeable, interesting fellow who cannot do enough for you to ensure your stay is memorable. He organised our safari and trip to Polonnaruwa which were awesome and also drove us to Pidurangala for the sunrise to ensure our safety. Dinu is a sensational cook and is very generous in sharing her passion. We agree that her currys are the tastiest we have had in 4 weeks travelling Sri Lanka. We wish these 2 beautiful people all the very best 🙏💕

Positive: Tranquil Guest was within a quiet area of Sigyria village with glimpses of Lion’s Rock and within the nation park. It’s in an area tha has been dated back to prehistoric times, and nearby to the many safari parks with a wealth of elephants, lakes, and stunning birdlife. Its location enableds an easy stroll for food and drinks or if you fancied the climb up Lion’s Rock. This room was the best in 5 weeks of travelling. Tranquil Guest is so much more than a beautiful air conditioned room with its own wet room, fridge and tea making facilities. The owner, Banda, collected me from airport, and can curate and organise any trips you fancied. He even got up at 4:30 to give me lift, as it was dark and elephants can be known to roam, to the famous Sigirya Rock to witness sunrise from the top. Food, by his wife, was fabulous. Every effort was made to ensure you had the most stress free time. Book!

Positive: Absolutely LOVED our stay here. The hosts are amazing, so hospitable, so warm and friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure you have a perfect stay. The accommodation is brand new, large, very clean, with a huge new bathroom and a fantastic shower! A small fridge stocked with water and other drinks is available in the room. Great air con and fan. We slept so well in the huge comfy bed. It was lovely to sit on the veranda of an evening and they have such a beautiful garden, where they grow their own fruit and vegetables. We had breakfast and evening meals at the accommodation. The food was all freshly prepared, tasted phenomenal, and Bandar's wife is such an incredible cook ! Hotel is a short walk to town (less than 10 mins) and Bandar also owns his own tuk tuk and will happily give you a ride into town/to bank, to help with orientation, or to Sigiriya, for example. Bandar is also a licenced and experienced tour guide, so is an expert with knowledge around Sigiriya and the surrounding area. We loved it so much here that we extended our stay and I cannot recommend this beautiful hotel and setting high enough. Bandar and his wife are two of the most humble, lovely, genuine people we have met in Sri Lanka and they made our stay very, very memorable. Thank you, to you both, for such a special and unique experience. These are two very special people and we wish them all the luck in the world with Tranquil.
