Summary: This property is very quirky and old fashioned, it is very spacious but could do with a bit of updating to make it more comfortable. Lovely area and a nice walk to the beach is a must, also there is a great market on a Saturday morning. We had a lovely takeaway from The Golden Dragon takeaway and the local chip shop has a Gluten Free menu. All in all a great weekend celebrating an 80th birthday with family.

Summary: This is such a lovely, quirky home - it's beautiful and looks even nicer than in the pictures. We had everything we needed for a large group and could fit everyone round the table no problem. It's also a stones throw away from Bridport (which has some great pubs) and the sea at West Bay which made for a nice walk for us all to go on during a long NYE weekend. James also recommended a Chef for us who brought top notch nosh over for us. Great stuff.

Summary: Everything was here that we needed. Spacious and comfortable. Jamie the owner, was very helpful with our stay and recommended an excellent chef for a party night for my special birthday.We were very pleased with our choice of property.

Summary: This property is full of character, and quirky. All of us loved staying there. The garden was easily made dog proof by ensuring the gates were closed. And the kitchen has everything and more that you need to do any cooking. Owner was very helpful too.

Summary: The Vicarage is a unique property with a lovely large garden within walking distance of Bridport High Street. Its on a quiet street, close to Allington Hill and Coopers Wood (for the dog walking) and it was the perfect size and location for my sons 50th birthday family get together. We were a party of 9 - of various ages - and two dogs and there was more than enough room in the house and surrounding gardens for everyone to have their own space. There is ample parking and the lovely beaches of South Dorset are a short drive away. Jamie was the attentive host from booking to our leaving and was available for help at all times. There was an issue with the WiFi when we arrived, but it was sorted in no time and it worked perfectly for the rest of our stay. The large, well equipped kitchen made mealtimes a family event and we had oodles of hot water for both the bathrooms and washing up. The beds had clean linen and were comfortable and the lounge and dining room had sufficient seating for us all. We were able to hire a Chef for a birthday gourmet dinner during our stay and the large table with crisp table linen and silver candlesticks made the perfect setting for our special event. If you like somewhere a little quirky and with buckets of character then this property will fit the bill.
