Demelza is a Traditional Country Cottage set in a idyllic spot with stunning countryside views. Walk from the cottage to the bustling fishing town of Looe through the tidal river valley in about an hour. The picturesque village of Polperro is a 10 minute drive away. Both Looe & Polperro have many restaurants, shops & local crafts. The nearby village of Pelynt has 2 shops which include a butchers & a post office. There is a pub which serves good food. There are a variety of local beaches to explore all within a 10 minute drive away.
Ground floor consists of a dining room, lounge with a TV, dvd player & a electric heater. The kitchen has a electric oven with 4 hob rings, microwave, kettle, toaster & fridge. The WC & bathroom is on the ground floor. There is a shower mixer tap in the bath. The toilet is separate to the bathroom.
It is a old cottage so sometimes head room can be low in places.
First floor consists of 3 bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 has 2 singles. This room has a slanting roof & is only suitable for children up to the age of 10 approximately.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed
Bedroom 3 has a king bed.
There is night storage heaters & electric heaters in the rooms.
There is a gravelled garden at the front with outside table & chairs & a fire pit which can also be used as a BBQ. There is also a lawned garden to the back of the property with exceptional country views.
There is parking for 1 car.
I can do week bookings from friday to friday or shortbreaks from fri to mon or mon to fri.
There is a adjoining cottage which you can also book if you are looking to come away with 2 families or a larger family. This cottage sleeps 5 (ref 8124134)

Summary: The cottage was perfect clean and the beds were very comfortable, amazing view from the house and my girls enjoyed the cows and sheeps. I would definitely recommend this cottage and waiting to book again.

Summary: Very peaceful setting, skylarks, sheep and cows. Cottage was lovely and old fashioned. The bath is a little tricky if not very flexible, the bath being quite short but if you can kneel, it’s fine and there is an upgraded metal handheld shower attachment to the taps. Hope to stay again in the future.

Summary: Lovely cottage in a stunning rural location. So very quiet. Lots of character. Close to East Looe Beach. Used as a base to visit the Eden project and camel creek adventure park - just under an hour away. Then had time visiting to local beaches. Hosts couldn’t have been more helpful
