Positive: The location was great. We were there to visit relatives that live in the village. It is a nice place to stay. It was probably built in the 70"s and had the usual wear and tear. Would have liked to have had easier access to the big deck so we could have gotten the older family outside to enjoy the weather. There were some small not so clean issues, but definitely not a deal breaker. The lay out is nice and easy to get around. Decorated well. Both decks were nice. Beds were okay, the matteress toppers were very soft. Convient to Hot Springs.

Negative: If your paying a cleaning company to come in, you are not getting your monies worth. A small hand vacuum, would be a great investment. The kitchen cabinets and drawers could use a good cleaning and lined with contact paper and more organized although you may not look at that since you don't see the dishes, but again not a deal breaker. it would have been nice to have some dishwasher detergent, one packaget for two night stay, two for a four night stay, etc., since the renters are expected to clean and put away all the dishes, who wants to spend their time doing dishes by hand when your on vacation. Small issues all and all, but when we need a place to stay in Hot Springs again we will look to see if this place is available. is small, could have been a bit cleaner. Maybe get rid of the old food items left by other renters. In the list of all the amenities should read that the local activities are not amenities because they each charge a fee. The refrigerator is in need of a good cleaning too, my wife wiped it out and cleaned the outside drip tray under the ice dispenser.

Summary: If we need a place to stay in Hot Springs again we will look to see if this place is available.
