Summary: Room was very clean and quiet, bed and pillows were so comfortable, kitchen had just what we needed. Tower Road Motel was perfect for our short stay in Matamata.

Summary: Short walk from Matamata for any supplies or meals. Lovely Motel. Well kept. Doddle to check in and out would happily stay again if I ever found myself in the area.

Summary: The owner was so nice and the place was decently cleaned. The biggest issue we had was the smell in the main bedroom. It smelled like someone had pee’d on the carpet and it had been there for a while.

Summary: Lovely motel in the heart of Matamata. Clean rooms, easy parking, great amenities within the room, and lovely setting, including farmland, horses, and a wonderful walking path right outside the hotel. Also, very close to Hobbiton and for visiting the area around this lovely city.

Summary: The room was clean and spacious. Easy to find. The staff was away when we got there but they have the room assignment posted on their office door and the keys were already on the door.

Summary: Everything as I expected it to be. Very friendly staff. Very quiet from road noise. I will stay there again in the near future. I am a retired Motelier, and it was as I ran my Motel in Hamilton.
