Summary: Overall, lovely home on a beautiful lake. Communication with host/owners was prompt and excellent. However, for boating novices the description of a mooring buoy could be more detailed in the house description. After booking we were informed that the anchor buoy sits approximately 50 feet from the dock in chest deep water. We rented a boat for the week with the expectation of docking the boat at the private dock with evening boat rides. However, we did not take the boat out in the evenings as it would require a 50' swim in the chilly Michigan breeze. If it were not for this detail this would have been an exceptional property. Would still recommend this property despite this small issue.

Summary: We had an amazing stay at this property. It was so inviting and comfortable. The house was extremely well stocked and super clean! We will never forget the beautiful sunsets from the back deck! We would definitely come back in a heartbeat!

Summary: This was our first trip back to Michigan in a long time, and our kids first time “Up North”. Lisa’s property is a perfect location on the lake and is a beautiful spot. The house is really nice and had all of the things we needed to relax and have fun. The sunset in the pictures don’t do it justice, we sat and watched a gorgeous sunset every day. Lisa was very communicative, gave recommendations on food and fun, and made the process easy in every way. We are already planning our return trip and can’t wait to visit again.

Summary: Beautiful property and great location on Torch Lake. The backyard is big and private (rare for lakefront). Lake is nice and shallow right off the doc, so swimming with the kids was easy and safe. House had great amenities, was clean, and well taken care of. Sunsets right from the Master Bedroom was a nice bonus too :)

Summary: Amazing from start to finish! Everything you would need and more sitting on the most beautiful lake. Our family was new to Vrbo, and this house exceeded all expectations. Was super stocked with everything you would ever need and more. The house and property were super clean, with super helpful owners! Even the neighbors were friendly and had great info about the area. Not only was the house Great for our family, the property is amazing. Sitting right on the shores of crystal blue waters of Torch with all sorts of water toys for my kids to use, a dock to jump off to swim and a perfect fire pit for sunset s’mores. This was the perfect vacay location, our family had a blast!! Will definitely be returning!!

Summary: My friends and I have been coming to Torch for 12 years abd this is the best place we've stayed in. Lisa and Kevin are wonderful hosts, very flexible, communicative and incredibly nice. The house was super clean, well stocked and in the perfect location. We enjoyed multiple nights aroubd the fire watching the sunset. Their home our special annual trip even more memorable.

Summary: House was lovely. Lake was beautiful. We had a great time. Wish there was a place to dock your boat - swimming out to the mooring each time we wanted to use our boat was a not enjoyable. All in all a very nice vacation.
