Positive: The cabin and area was baeutiful. The kids loved the playground.

Negative: We didn't have a car so restaurants were quite far in the cold, but the supermarket is very close by and very well equipped.

Positive: The location was good near Bogstad lake and close to Oslo. The playground was good and the main toilet block was good. The reception was very helpful when planning a trip into Oslo centre. There is a supermarket at the entrance to the site.

Negative: The cabin was in need of refurbishment and was fairly warm. The bedrooms were fairly clean but had some hairs on the mattress.

Positive: A huge campsite with a few activities for kids. Nestled in some beautiful scenery right next to a wonderful walk around a lake that’ll take your breath away, we’d definitely come back here.

Negative: The location is what it is and I didn’t necessarily dislike it but just be aware that you’re a good distance from most places you’re likely to want to see in Oslo. Download the Ruter app for public transport and you’re good to go - literally! There is a bus stop directly outside the camp site from where you can access the whole of Oslo.
