Positive: Beautiful cottage and very friendly hosts! Communication was fantastic. Check-in was easy and the hosts had emailed everything in advance. They left a welcome pack, which was a lovely surprise! The cottage has everything needed for a great family getaway. The rooms were large with lots of space and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom is huge and beautifully decorated. Large free-standing bath and large shower! The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious enough for everyone to sit around the large dining table. The living room has a log fire, which we unfortunately did not use, but would be lovely in the winter! We did not spend enough time here as we were just using the cottage as a base for Alton Towers. Would definitely love to return and spend more time relaxing in this beautiful place.

Positive: Cottage had lots of amenities and little touches to make it feel like a warm welcoming home and a joy to stay within. Even the children wished they could spend more time in cottage.

Negative: There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Positive: Tomfield cottage had everything we needed and more. The kind welcome gifts really made us feel special. We would definitely stay here again x.

Negative: If I'm being really picky the cottage is on a main road that got busy very early in the morning. I'm not used to traffic noise, so it did wake me up. The extra charge for heating was a bit steep £30 for 3 nights, when the smart meter showed we had only used around £10 worth
