Positive: Beach was great, easy to get to and with a beach bar/restaurant. The grotto pools were nice bur many of the jets were not working in the pools.

Negative: Temperature controls were not working in our rooms. When we discussed this issue with the front desk they acknowledged that the systems were not working but said we are closing in ten days for a couple of weeks so we won't fix it until then. Just told us that we have to live with no temperature control and offered no other compensation or consideration.

Positive: Diletta was wonderful and very helpful as we changed rooms from a luxury room to a suite. We paid more but it was worth every penny. She went out of her way to help with taxis and electric bike rental. She made our experience extra special and along with the amazing beach with Ritz like setup and restorative salt pools, this was our best experience yet in Italy.

Negative: The bed in the comfort level looked uncomfortable (we had two rooms as we were traveling with family).

Positive: The resort was perfectly located in town on the beach and near the wineries. The staff was excellent and helpful in all cases. Our room had a view of the sea and was fabulous and the spa was exceptional and beyond our expectations. I have recommended my friends who are coming so to this place.

Positive: The spa staff were really friendly and we had some great treatments there from Lisa. The entrance lobby was very nice and a great drinks list in the bar.

Negative: The hotel needs some money spending on it. The spa pools are nice but need a bit of freshening up around the edges. Mould on the windows. The 80s love songs in the restaurant tie in with the faded grandeur of this very traditional hotel.

Summary: Too expensive for the current state of the hotel
