Summary: Very disappointed with the bed mattress . Far too soft and allowed you to feel the boards underneath. When I complained they changed my room but it was much the same. You have to walk outside to access the dining room from the bedrooms, which is locked at the weekend until 9 am. Shower rooms seem new but lacked basic items such as a shelf for one's toiletries etc Breakfasts were ok. Serving staff were excellent

Summary: Very friendly and helpful staff. Had dinner at the pub and the portions were generous and the food tasty. The room was average sized and the bed was comfy - again generous amounts of tea/coffee in the room. The building is a bit tired in places but for one night, it suited me and I would stay again.

Summary: WE HAD A LOVELY STAY, THE STAFF WERE VERY WELCOMING, VERY FRIENDLY. THEY COULDN'T DO ENOUGH TO HELP YOU. THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. HOWEVER THE ROOMS ARE A BIT TIRED ALTHOUGH WE HAD A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP.

Summary: The restaurant was excellent. Staff helpful. Room was disappointing bathroom had very small shower. Walls not tiled. 3 loose pieces of carpet. The website pictures of rooms and bathrooms bear no resemblance to the actual we experienced. We feel we were overcharged. Shame really as it could be lovely.
