Positive: Room quality and view exceeded my expectations as did the breakfast. Would recommend having dinner there as well in order to be able to enjoy the room and onsen more. They provide transport from/to closest bus station but I would recommend just walking to it (about 20 min.), very green and the feeling of japanese countryside is nice. The Yukatas are amazing (and top quality).

Negative: The rooms aren't soundproof (so just be careful not to get wild in those).

Positive: There were various types of onsen. The inner garden was beautiful and peaceful.

Negative: The central heating was too strong. It was very hot and difficult to breathe (but opening the door and turning on the humidifier in the room helped).

Positive: I loved the Japanese-style ryokan. It was very spacious. Lovely meals and complimentary treats were everywhere. I also loved the outdoor private onsen. Free shuttle services. Accommodating and friendly staff.

Negative: I found some rubbish under my bed. The onsen facilities were a bit dated.
