Positive: Having such a spacious room with private bathroom and kitchen in Tokyo for this price is amazing! Check in/out instructions are clear and communication is fast with the owner. Otsuka was one of my favorite areas from last year, much calmer than the bigger areas but still lively till morning! 3 different kombini with 5min walk, restaurants, bars and drugstore as well! 10m walk to station. Kitchen utensils and bathroom amenities were well provided!

Negative: The location is not easy to find. Its in between set of houses only to be reached from tiny rock path that your luggage cant go over so you have to carry. In the heat and as a solo female traveler that wasnt easy :( unfortunately during my 16day stay with 3 different places, this was the only one with cockroaches and spiders. It really threw me off and didnt know what to do since the place was so clean and not even a single dust on any corner, i accepted my fate :) there was no shower curtain in the tiny bathroom, so whenever i took shower, whole bathroom (toilet, floors, door etc.) was wet. Iron is not provided

Positive: Really great place to stay for a week. Very comfortable, great location. Would definitely stay here again.

Negative: A bit of an odd smell in the room but not very noticeable after some time (I also left the windows open for a bit each day).

Positive: Very nice location, minutes walk away from the train station and groceries, etc., and the surrounding suburb was interesting to explore. Was very clean and felt very private, a bit like an airbnb. Comfortable bed. Good selection of bathroom products. Basic kitchenware including knife, chopping board, stove, pan, microwave, kettle, fridge, so I could actually do some cooking, which was nice. Though it's not noted on the listing, there is actually a washing machine outside on premise, and clothes can be hung on a bar outside the bedroom window relatively privately, using provided coat hangers.

Negative: Though not particularly a big deal, there was a lack of surface area to put things on, so I ended up resting the cutting board across the sink basin as a bench, and ended up sitting the kettle on the floor. The desk and chair was also a little small/basic. That said, It is enough to work with and won't be an issue if you'll be out most days.

Summary: Clean like a hotel room, private like an AirBnB, in a convenient and nice location
