Positive: Aisling was a super host, very helpful and always at the end of the phone. Cottage and Hideaway were very warm and cosy. We really appreciated the stove after long days in the cold and rain. On top of this we had our horses stabled on site. I was also very thankful that I could have my mascot collie Milo with me. Super location - within 20 mins of Cavan Equestrian Centre , Cavan town centre and local shops. Thank you Aisling. We would definitely book again.

Positive: A perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but close enough to everyday amenities. Aisling was a perfect host, and on hand, if required. Information leaflets about the Cavan area were available in the cottage.

Positive: The location was amazing. I’d walked by this cottage and the Hideaway many times but going inside was something else . Just gorgeous. Aisling left some groceries - fresh country eggs, juice, tea/coffee, milk, bread, biscuits … all of the essentials to get started. Absolutely loved it and showed it off to all who would come and look in the door!

Negative: See above - absolutely nothing !

Summary: It was a sad occasion but fantastic to have this hideaway to go to to rest and restore
