Positive: Kallion is located at the best location possible - at the edge of Klafsi. Very quiet, and you can park right there - plenty of space on the street. The breakfast is more than adequate to energize you and start exploring the mountains. Now, the view... what can i say? The broader area is beautiful, and the view from the room we had (and most rooms i assume), is simply unique. Depending on the season (we went on August), you can have your coffee (room has a mini kitchen) at the balcony and gaze at the lush forest. The best part of it all: the hosts. Yiannis and Dimitra will be more than happy to offer guidance on exploring the area and are quite knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Till the next time!

Positive: Great location. The room was spotless and offered everything as advertised. Breakfast/lounge area was very cosy. There were several spots in the surrounding area that one can relax and enjoy the mountain view.

Positive: Located in a small village of Klavsi, about 15 minutes drive from Karpenisi, comfortable room with good views and very basic kitchenette. Very nice and helpful hosts and very good breakfast, slightly different each day. Parking just outside the property on a quiet street. Good taverna only a few minutes walking away, but check the opening hours, as they may differ to what Google suggests.

Negative: There is no electric kettle and it takes over 10 minutes to boil a cup of water on an old small electric stove. There was no coffee shop or restaurant during our stay, as stated on Booking.com and the lounge is shared with the owners.

Summary: Good base to explore Karpenisi and its surroundings.

Positive: Best host so far of all trips we've went to. Quick and agile to adjust from misfortunes that occurred and very friendly. Pet friendliness at its finest. They treat our dog with respect within laws and regulations. The breakfast was homemade and amazing with fresh ingredients. All in all i would certainly recommend
