Positive: The location is amazing. The beds are incredibly comfortable and time spent in your room will feel magical. It's not perfect but it's a construction on a floating island so within those constraints I thought it was beautiful.

Negative: I write this as a local. I don't live there anymore but I travel a lot. Also, assume all of this dialogue is in native Spanish so it wasn't a language misunderstanding. I like things to be upfront. You cannot pay by card despite what it may say here in the booking site cause they don't have internet access for the card reader. Also, once you book, you will be sent how much the mandatory boat service costs to and from the island. Once you're on the island, you can only eat from what they sell unless you are ready to pay more for the boat service. This means the prices for these things are quite high cause they can (I assure you they are higher comparatively from "normal"). Are these prices upfront or anywhere to be found? No, they just say them on the spot. I did not appreciate that because the cash bit wasn't clear they wanted me to take time to go to an ATM with them and then take out money like that before I left for the airport. As a single woman traveling, I did not feel safe doing that but they insisted so much despite me saying no. My airport driver ended up loaning me the money so I didn't have to take extra time to do this. It could've been avoided with being clear about only taking cash. My intent with this is not to deter anyone from going but to be aware of what you're signing up for so there are no surprises.

Positive: I really liked it, especially the hosts – the lady who took perfect care of us and her husband, who guided us on the boat. They are truly amazing.

Positive: The property is a quite peaceful spot on the lake it was nice to be away from the city and enjoy the calm waters. Also the staff are incredibly kind and make you feel right at home.

Negative: The shower pressure is very low but it’s understandable given the location.
