Positive: From the moment we arrived I was in awe at the beautiful home. We were greeted not only by the friendly faces of our hosts but two very happy excited canine friends! It was extremely heart warming staying here. It felt like home because of how looked after we were. Our hosts were so incredibly kind and generous. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Location is great and a 5/10 minute TukTuk drive to Galle Fort. We had a lovely breakfast in the mornings here at Three Shades which we would highly recommend! The entire space from walking in the door to our room itself was spacious, clean and tidy.

Summary: My favourite place to stay so far. Thank you so so much.

Positive: I absolutely loved my stay at Three Shades. The villa is situated in a local neighborhood with shops close by, and around 15 minutes away from Galle Fort and old town by bike. The host family are truly amazing, they were so helpful to assist with everything, even lending me a bike, and their cooking is divine. The room was nice, well-furnished and spacious with A/C, a balcony and a desk. I would absolutely stay here again.

Positive: I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this villa! The area is peaceful and beautiful, offering a perfect escape. The location is fantastic, just a walk to the beach or can take the tuk tuk 5 minutes away from the beach making it easy to enjoy the stunning coastline. The villa itself is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and spacious. The beautiful wooden carvings and the large, lush garden added such charm and tranquility to the space. What really made my stay special were the hosts. They were so friendly and welcoming, treating us like part of their family. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcoming. The breakfast, which includes delicious Sri Lankan or English options, was always a highlight. They also offer Sri Lankan food for lunch and dinner on request, which is a real treat, A MUST TRY! On request you can also learn to cook a couple of srilankan dishes( only if you are interested in getting to know the srilankan traditions and their foods) The villa is also kid-friendly, which makes it a great choice for families. Overall, I would give this place a 10/10 and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. I’ll definitely be back!

The villa itself is beautiful—peaceful, well-maintained, and surrounded by a calm and relaxing atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I could ask for. I also loved how everything was tastefully decorated, giving it a cozy and stylish vibe. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious food. Every meal was prepared with such care, and everything I tried was simply top-notch. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality and flavors were just amazing! The location is perfect, especially for a surf lover like me. Dewata Beach was just a short 5-minute tuk-tuk ride away, making it super convenient to catch some waves anytime I wanted.
