THE HOME: Blue Heaven is a classic Caribbean Cottage featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms+, a large great room including a full kitchen on the main floor; on the lower level there is a laundry room with free washer and dryer, and a third bathroom. (See our floorplan in the photo section).
THE POOL: You'll love the huge 14' X 40' private, heated swimming pool. It doesn't get any better than this!
FAMILY FRIENDLINESS: Blue Heaven is made for families. We provide a crib and a highchair. Plus, with piles of pool toys, movies, and games, your kids will be entertained rain or shine. We provide bikes and two scooters so your family can have some family fun biking around Judith's Fancy.
OUTDOOR KITCHEN: With a poolside kitchen/bar area with Weber gas grill and multiple seating areas, you'll have endless family fun playing Giant Yahtzee, corn hole, or Enormous Jenga.
LOCATION ON THE ISLAND: On the north shore, mid-island in Estate Judith's Fancy, our home is minutes from Christiansted where you can visit shops and great restaurants. It is close to grocery stores and all necessities, but sits in a safe, gated community where you can walk to the shore and do some fantastic beach combing.
COST: Lower rates May - October 30. 5% discount for 7 days or more. Send inquiry for 10% discount on 10 days or more and a 15% discount for stays of 21 days or more. 20% discount for 28 days or more.

DIVING: Are you a scuba diver? "The Wall" - a 3,000-foot drop-off offshore at Cane Bay is a premier dive site known around the world. In fact, you can do almost any kind of diving on St. Croix - night diving, deep diving, pier diving, wreck diving, drift diving, and, of course, open water diving.
POINTS OF INTEREST: The east end of the island is arid, with cactus and succulents, while the west end contains a rain forest, making the biodiversity on St. Croix amazing. Don't forget to visit the far east end of the island, Point Udall. It is the easternmost tip of the U.S.
FOOD AND RESTAURANTS: Everything you need--groceries and gasoline--are two minutes away. Blues Backyard BBQ and the Palms are both excellent, and just a short drive from our house. Blues has live music in a relaxed outdoor setting Wednesday through Friday nights. (Check out their Facebook page to see who is playing.) There are too many restaurants to list, but ask Patty, and she'll give you the foodie lowdown.
OUR VIEW: Feel like kicking back and just chillin' for a day? You'll also love hanging out on the deck poolside, soaking in the view of the Caribbean Sea. Want an even better view? Climb our hill to The Perch for a getaway like no other. Grab some wine. The perch is a fantastic place to see the sun setting over the hills to the west. If you are very lucky, you'll even see a whale or two breaching in the crystal waters of the Caribbean sea. (Check out the Whale Watching STX Facebook page to see film footage.)
THE WEATHER: The weather on St. Croix ranges from amazingly great, 75 degrees (F) and sunny, to incredibly nice, 85 degrees (F) and sunny. Occasionally, there's a rain cloud that passes over, but in typical Caribbean fashion, the rains are usually quick and welcomed!
THE FUN: There are so many different things to do on St. Croix. (Search Google for 101 Things to Do on St. Croix.) From snorkeling and scuba to hiking and sailing, sunbathing, beach-combing, visiting historic sites, birding, and walking, you'll never run out of new adventures. THE TECH: Need to work-from-home while you are here? We hope not -- but, if you need to check in, we have free wi-fi and two desk workstations where you can plug in your own devices. A printer is available for your use.

Summary: Place is conveniently located with all the attractions less than 30 min away. It’s situated in a picturesque neighborhood and provides lots of privacy. The owners/rental manager put a lot of thought and effort to make this place cozy but practical. It’s very well stocked. Pool was a big hit. It’s huge and pretty deep. You can swim laps in it. Finally, manager Patty was very easy to get in touch and had lots of suggestions before we even arrived on the island. We can’t wait to be back!!!

Summary: We had such a wonderful relaxing time at this property in Judith's Fancy. The pool is perfect, and the patio and outside bar/grill area is amazing as well. Wish we could have hosted a big party! It is so relaxing to wake up every morning and have breakfast by the pool and enjoy a book or newspaper, all while hearing and seeing the ocean from the elevated location. Plenty of brochures and suggestions for things to do were at the house for us to review, and everything we needed was there as well. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our family of 4 adults. Patty was very easy to contact and ask questions of -- quick to respond and great recommendations for information about the island -- definitely "hostess with the mostess!" Thanks for sharing the home - we had a wonderful time!

Summary: We have stayed at this property numerous times. It is our home away from home in St. Croix. Great location, excellent communication from the owners and the maintenance person, great rates. We already have our December trip planned and can't wait to get back down for another fun filled family vacation.

Summary: It had a great setup; neighbors far enough away it felt like no one else around. Pool was great as was the Patio. I would recommend this rental to anyone it was wonderful. Would have not enjoyed the vacation as much if we stayed in a hotel!

Summary: First of all, Patty is the best host ever! The owner is very helpful and responsive. This is a casual beach house with an incredible outdoor space. It is a great value! The location in Judith’s Fancy is convenient to everywhere on the island. We were leaving right when the Crowdstrike debacle was happening and many were left stranded. Patty generously let us come back to the property for another night!

Summary: We were expecting a very nice place from the pictures on the site and when we arrived the place exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in the door you felt comfortable and like you were at a home away from home and that was worth every penny spent although for being such a great property it was very reasonably priced. Check in and check out instruction were very clear and easy with the rules of the house house and what the renter expected out of us clearly communicated and that was mostly make your self at home and have fun and that was what we did easily. The ammenities were great with an awesome outside pool and bbq area that made the time spent at the house feel like you were not missing out on anything on the island. Through out the stay the property owners were very helpful offering recomendations and making sure that every little thing was to our satisfaction. There was a tiny techinical issue and they went above and beyond to make sure that it did not affect our stay in any way dealing with any problems swiftly made us feel like they had made it thier priority that we had a great vacation. I can not say enough about the property in this small review to express how relaxed and how much enjoyment we had on our trip! Even the little things that made the place great was the interactive map where guest could pin there favorite place on the island was fun and informative. Overall i would give this place an 11 out of ten stars if i could!!!

Summary: My family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The highlight was definitely the breathtaking views every morning waking up to the beautiful view of the ocean below and the island around us. The property itself is beautifully maintained and offers a truly relaxing atmosphere. We loved lounging by the pool, which was a perfect way to unwind after a day at the nearby beaches. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. The kitchen had everything we needed and more to prepare meals. The host was awesome and incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay! They provided us with excellent recommendations for activities and dining and when our flight home was cancelled, helped find alternative ways for us to get home! Overall, our experience at this rental exceeded my expectations. The combination of stunning views, a relaxing atmosphere, and the refreshing pool made it the perfect place for a getaway. We can't wait to return!

Summary: Absolutely loved Al's Judith's Fancy property. The indoor/outdoor living made the place perfect for the two of us. We read, hung out in the pool, watched island-themed movies, and toured the island. While the weather was hot, the house was situated well to catch the breezes and large almond trees shaded the deck. The house had amenities galore from great coffee to books about St. Croix to an enviable DVD collection. And the air-conditioned bedrooms meant good sleep. Any small problems were immediately addressed by Troy, the local concierge. And finally, the house's central location made sight-seeing on both ends of the island easy!

Summary: It started out a little rocky with us not being able to check in on time, but Patty made up for it with a gift card to Rhythms. THANKS! The house and the neighborhood were great; beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. We enjoyed being able to grill out and take evening swims to cool off from the day. However there were a few things to mention such as we couldn't find an air pump for the bike tires (which were very low) and the cleaning fee could be worked out a little differently. There is a cleaning charge, but we are asked to do laundry, take out the trash, and do the dishes before we leave. I think it would be better to incorporate the charge into the nights stay then people (we) wouldn't have done what was asked of us so grudgingly. Other than those few minor things the place was great! We are still giving it 5 stars!! Thanks Patty!
