You will enjoy your morning coffee or sunset evening glass of wine from the beautiful 1000 square foot deck overlooking Lake Pend Oreille. This private, peaceful retreat is minutes from the vibrant town of Sandpoint and the City Beach. The cabin retreat has 2 bedrooms equipped with double queen bunk beds, dressers and can sleep 8 people. High speed Wifi and Netflix are also included. There is a propane Bar-B-Q and an outdoor oversized stone patio with fireplace, full kitchen and washer and dryer. Just a 15 minute drive to Schweitzer, a 40 minute drive to Silverwood Amusement Park, a 20 minute bicycle ride to City Beach or a 5 minute drive to downtown Sandpoint . Close to great hiking and biking trails. Enjoy all the great things this amazing town has to offer...great shops, restaurants, festivals and best of all amazing weather!! In the winter you can ski from nearby Schweitzer Mountain, snowmobile, cross-country and snowshoe. Year round activities at your doorstep. The retreat is pet friendly. We have a chocolate lab named Murphy and with the home on Murphy Bay, Murphy's retreat came to life.

Summary: Came to meet our new granddaughter who lives in Ponderay. This is a true gem, such a great little cabin with beautiful views of the lake. Enjoyed the fire pit and roasting marshmallows with the grandkids. Can't wait to stay again was the perfect home away from home. Thank you for such a wonderful time

Summary: Loved our stay at Murphy’s Retreat. Comfy and quiet evenings on the large deck and fire pit. Everything you could ever need for food prep (although we elected to eat out—many places to choose from). Great place for the pups to hang with us. Lots of recommendations from hosts on places to go and things to do in the area. More amenities than a five star hotel. Place was spotless, obviously well cared for. Would highly recommend, well worth the price.

Summary: This cabin is roomy, comfortable and equipped with everything you can imagine for a fun stay. The view of the lake through the trees is awesome. There is plenty of room for a group of eight and the owners are beyond gracious. We had a great time!

Summary: We absolutely loved this property, it was very well stocked with everything you need. Great value for all this property offers. You can tell the hosts are welcoming and really care about your stay. Very clean and comfortable - the kitchen and main living space was perfect size for our group of 3. If there was one area for improvement it is that we were not fans of the queen bunk beds - it felt claustrophobic since one side was pushed up against the wall, and very limited head room - but the mattresses were very comfortable. Amazing outdoor spaces - decks and patio. Overall the property was one of the best we've ever stayed at - highly recommend.

Summary: Great little cabin that met all of our needs. Loved staying here for the week. Having Schweitzer to ski 25 miutes away, the town to hang out in, and being able to drive to Coeur d'Alene for one day.
