Positive: Everything ! The best place to stay in Madeira. Each day you have the best sunset you can have in an amazing quiet place. All the stuffs are new, clean and well thinking. The original rooms with there theme, the adorable cat , The hosts have a few thoughtful touches. The kitchen is full equipped , I regret to change my accommodation next ahah

Positive: Great house, serene and beautiful. It was an ideal choice for our first stay (honeymoon trip) in Madeira, we enjoyed it fully. Clean and exactly as described, really nice hosts, wonderful views, and beautiful cats. There was nothing more we could have asked for as everything was in its right place. P.S. The village is indeed quite far away from many attractions so it requires a lot of driving around. We enjoyed it though as Madeira offers a new mind-blowing sight with every driven meter. Highly recommend, K+J

Positive: Be far away from crowds:) everything is so cozy and also you have beautiful sunset right there
Negative: There is quite moisture in the room but we were there in May and it also rained a little bit. Except that I can only recommend it!

Positive: Super clean, the view from the yard was amazing, there were neches and also a hammock to enjoy the view. The kitchen was equipped.
Summary: I would definitely recommend it and if I go back I will definitely stay there again.

Positive: Our stay at This Old House was lovely. Don’t hesitate to book even though the bathroom is outside the room (only in one of the two rooms) cause it’s absolutely not a problem at all. Literally it’s just two steps away and for private use only. And what a great shower! The room is very nicely decorated, has a massive TV screen and a great collection of DVD movies, which was perfect for the cold and windy nights. The shared kitchen is lovely, and it’s definitely worth mentioning the amazing view from the terrace. I’m sure it must be stunning on clear days!
