Summary: Perfect for what we needed for a getaway with our daughter and son-in-law. Location is great, quiet area. We hiked around the lake, chilled by the fire, grilled, enjoyed a nice relaxing evening. Host is very responsive, Upstairs had everything we needed. Note that the lower unit has a separate entrance ONLY, can't access it without going outside. Our kids thought about staying there, but it was a chilly weekend and there was a second bedroom/bathroom upstairs so we had more space than we needed. Downstairs unit had some dead bugs in the bathroom, not a deal killer, but maybe not used recently. We would stay here again.

Summary: This house/cabin was perfect for our family! It is secluded yet we could still get to my niece's wedding in Lake George easily. Outdoor activities were literally in the backyard. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching wildlife, and I was especially excited to discover Big Foot!

Summary: Beautiful home with even more beautiful views. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, and there were lots of places to hang out inside and outside. Sitting in rocking chairs bird watching on the porch was our favorite part. It was a very peaceful getaway and we hope to come back soon. The hosts were very helpful and answered questions quickly. Eleven mile reservoir is a very short drive away. Note that the marina is no longer renting kayaks, canoes, or SUPs this season (only pontoons and fishing boats), so you need to bring your own.
