Positive: We absolutely loved our stay here! We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. We spent our morning wandering the streets and nearby beach. The remaining hours were spent on the balcony, in the super comfy lounges watching the river and its many creatures. We spent hours watching a family of otters, 2 water lizards, and a local fisherman checking a net from his homemade raft. The sunsets were stunning and storms fascinating to watch. The host and her daughter were amazing. Always available, attentive, and extremely helpful. Our room overlooking the water was very clean, private, and spacious. The air-conditioning was cold and room quiet. There was constant hot water for free coffee, sugar, and biscuits. All the appliances worked well. The showers only had cold water, but being summer, it was the perfect temperature. Free use of the washing machine and powder was a bonus. There were lots of small stores for basic needs like snacks and drinks. Also, food stalls and mini mart within a few kilometres. We hope to be back again next year. Wonderful place.

Positive: Hired the whole house for 2 nights heading north with husband and teens 16 and 19. Very basic but lovely view from the veranda. Met the owner when we arrived and when we left. She was very nice. Good location for the Tsunami museum and memorial garden which you can walk to. You are in a small friendly village

Negative: Bedding. Would have been nice to have more than just a blanket, cotton top sheet possibly

Positive: I travelled alone with my little girl of 5 years old and as well me and my little girl loved this place so much. The host and family is super friendly and make you feel at home immediately! She even took us on her motorbike to a place where we could eat really nice food. Such good memories - and really happy it came across our path! Surely recommend this if you want to experience this way (something else than a typical hotel or resort) of travelling through Thailand too.
