Positive: We enjoyed the peacefulness of the lodge. It was clean and tidy. The bed and sofa were comfy. With a nice finishing touch of a table and chairs on the decking. Room service is easily accessible you can either ring or if ordering food scan QR code place order and it is delivered straight to the door.

Negative: All the toiletries had run out except the toilet roll

Positive: Setting is spectacular! Lodge is clean, highly comfortable with loads of amenities in the room…food we ordered as room service was delicious! The wildlife is amazing!

Negative: Would have been nice to enjoy a cooked breakfast during a mid week stay in the restaurant, as the setting is indealic.

Summary: Won’t stay anywhere else…

Positive: Great value for money, SOO scenic & peaceful! We absolutely loved our stay here, deffo planning to stay regularly! Just what we needed! Have recommended to all my friends and family 😍 It was out 1 year anniversary and my birthday, we asked last minute for a cute touch like confetti & although the staff that would usually do this had left.. someone managed to do it for us, it felt so romantic and cosy! I’ve stayed and expensive/posh hotels, but this was by far my favourite, the place had such a calming & beautiful feel. Thank you so much ☺️

Negative: Could have done with a towel hook or two in the bathroom.. that’s it! 🤣

Positive: Easy to find, and the. Reception staff were great, really helpful. The room was very spacious, well presented, and great with the decking. I was lucky the weather was nice and warm so sitting outside was a pleasure. The bathroom was large with bath & shower. The bed is comfy, Slept well. The option to order food is a bonus. I will book again, it was a very pleasant night. {room 13}

Negative: The extractor fan from next doors bathroom was really loud.

Positive: Super comfy bed in a perfectly quiet location… just what we needed!! Best pillows I’ve slept on in a long time (where can I get some?! lol) Staff were super accommodating with our early check in request and made sure we felt welcome.

Negative: Feel like the little outside verandas could do with a barrier for extra safety.

Positive: Staff are very friendly and helpful, the kids loved feeding the ducks and the fish from our decking. Jacuzzi bath also a great hit! Shower was lovely, the lighting everywhere was very thought out and beds comfortable.

Negative: Breakfast wasn’t the best, very rough and ready and not much option at all. We had a kitchenette but no plates / knives / forks or washing up liquid/tea towels.

Summary: Family holiday stay, lovely accommodation but skip the breakfast

Positive: The location was great, felt very private. The room was a decent size and it was nice having a place to sit on the waters edge immediately coming out the door. The bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Negative: Unfortunately there had been a couple of things missed when cleaning the room prior to our stay. The ashtray on the patio / balcony was full of cigarette butts and there was some Doritos lying about on the table. The bin had rubbish in it and the floor wasn’t hoovered. However I’m sure the staff are busy this time of year and possibly an oversite as the toilet was clean, clean towels, the bedding was immaculate.
