Summary: The service in main restaurant was challenging for breakfast. Waiting 30 min for a tea or anyone to take our order was not great, the coffee came out in 5 min. There were also events in the hotel which caused restrictions- I think we probably should have been told ahead of time.

Summary: I have used hotels.com for years, but one thing I have learned is that their rankings for “best hotel” in a city don’t truly correspond with what one would consider a best hotel. Staying at the Woodward Hotel, which is easily the best hotel in hotel in Geneva, only reaffirmed that impression. I would encourage anyone who has the resources to stay at a 5-star hotel to consider the Woodward over the Geneva Four Seasons or Ritz. Aside from the service which was exceptional, the quality of the furnishings in the room is beyond. The bathroom is huge and is well thought out. (The free standing tub is larger than most which doesn’t seem like a big deal until you take an actual bath and suddenly realize the reason for this…a small difference that makes a big difference.) We have been fortunate to stay in top hotels all over the world and this hotel feels like it’s in a league of its own.
