Summary: It’s a very nice old hotel with great restaurant and bar. The location is very nice, near a beautiful park and many restaurants, however, going to and from main attractions takes 40 - 90 minutes depending on traffic.

Summary: The hotel is quintessential British in its decor and feel. Hotel rooms are spread across multiple half levels, so be ready to climb a few small sets of stairs with your luggage. The room we stayed in hadn’t been renovated, but it was still lovely and faced the parking lot and Clapham Common, which provided some privacy and quiet. There was dust on the table, and a water reservoir cover missing from the Nescafé espresso maker. The bathroom had a slow clearing drain. Overall the room was in good condition. Its such a great hotel in terms of location, pricing, size, and food that I look forward to going back next year if not before!

Summary: I have stayed here numerous times over the last seven years, and sadly the state of property is really bad now. Paint and plaster falling off the walls, terrible thread bare carpet throughout. The rooms themselves are looking tired now. The last few times the milk has been off, the fridge was turned off really dirty. It’s a shame because I used to love coming to the windmill, but even the food has gone really downhill.

Summary: We were staying in the old end of the hotel and I must say it was very tired service was good and bed very comfortable we informed management of our situation and they were very nice and gave us a reasonable discount of the bill we hope when we return things will have changed

Summary: An older property , quirky clever accommodations which were nice and quiet despite being grouped with a pub . Refurbishment is probably due here and there and the bed was a little uncomfortable for the room rate when comparing to city centre prices .
