Positive: Friendly and accommodating staff. Easy check in. Bed very comfy, towels and linens a good standard. No fuss change of room made when we realised our bath with over bath shower couldn’t be fixed to wall, so hair washing holding shower head not great. Moved to a room with shower cubicle with no fuss. Location for Eurotunnel excellent.

Negative: Informed on arrival that property has decided to stop offering breakfast during the week. A real shame, as having stayed there a few times previously we always found the breakfast to be perfect. Would say that we would stay again on a weekend when breakfast is offered, but during the week we would book elsewhere, sorry.

Positive: This is our third stay here. We really enjoy coming here for a night before catching the ferry over to Calias. Staff are always super friendly, location is great and the rooms are very comfortable and clean.

Negative: It would have been good to know in advance that their restaurant was not open on the day we arrived so we could have organised prior to arriving that we eat before getting there, instead of settling and only then finding out we couldn't order anything as they were closed. Our room this time was located above delivery/ kitchen area. We were woken at 6:20am by the chef or kitchen staff throwing boxes and crates and fighting with someone. Not a great start so early in the morning.

Positive: On arrival we were greeted very nicely. All of the staff were very polite and friendly to say the least. Would definitely recommend staying there and eating in the restaurant. 10/10

Positive: Warm welcome and quick resolution with a room change after finding an issue with the plumbing in the room first allocated to me. Delicious food and good service at both evening meal & breakfast. Warm, friendly and comfortable atmosphere for a lone travelling female. Quiet location and comfy bed for a great nights sleep and delicious hot chocolate sachet on tea tray. Netflix was an unexpected bonus. Attentive staff, especially Phil & Aimie.
