Positive: Close to the railway station. Good for a stop over while travelling to Shimla.

Negative: We had booked two rooms. One of the bathrooms was smelling. The reception is on the first floor and there is no lift.

Positive: We chose the Wind Cross as we had an early train from Kalka station which is only 2km away. The hotel was clean with comfortable bed and good shower and excellent food available as takeaway from the nearby Krishna cafe. Staff very welcoming. Ideal hotel for people getting the train to shimla and reasonably priced

Positive: Though the bedroom is comfortable and clean.

Negative: There is no restaurant on the property. The ordered food is brought from outside restaurants. There is a long and broad staircase to approach the property from the main road. There is no lift on the property. Your bags are hauled up to the property, and you must climb several stairs to reach it, even if your knees are bad.

Summary: Spnt only few hours of the nght as a transit stay and slept comfortably in the room.
