Positive: The staff were very friendly and efficient and the location was excellent

Negative: The photos on the website are very misleading as I paid for an executive king room and was expecting a walk in shower and roll top bath but only had a shower over a small bath. It needs to be clearer what the facilities are in each room .

Positive: The staff are great, friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food is good.

Negative: Our room, Room 1, is directly above the kitchen, and it's annoyingly loud. We stayed for 2 nights, with my wife working from the hotel during the day. The kitchen radio during the day and evening is loud enough that watching TV is impossible. Banging starts before 6 am, with doors slamming and the usual kitchen banter. I completely understand that kitchens are noisy and stressful places, but it's poor planning to give rooms above the kitchen to those staying for multiple nights. Had it just been the one evening, unless you wanted to sleep before 10 pm, it would have been OK. I will caveat this with I didn't complain and give the hotel a chance to rectify the issue.
