Negative: It was very hot! There was one fan but didn’t do much for the temperature overnight in the heatwave

Positive: Beautiful property in a nice setting. Booking a family room with 4 beds was such a find. It was actually lovely having the bathroom outside the room as a separate room (beautiful bathroom). Communications with owner were really good. Delicious fruit, brioche rolls, bread for toasting, butter, etc. Various coffee & tea options in fridge designated for room. Also, parking at £7 a day fir our trip is much appreciated.
Negative: 1. because it was a hot night, we had to leave the windows open. It is on a busy road with cars travelling at a fast speed so very noisy. 2. Even though the blinds were down, a security light that was activated regularly throughout the night was very bright round the edges of the blind. Kept waking my kid up.

Positive: Clean and comfortable, reasonably priced and easy 5 minute drive to the airport next morning. Perfectly adequate buffet breakfast left in the fridge in the room - cereal, toast, juice, fruit and yoghurt plus tea/coffee.
Negative: It's on a noisy road, but it was pretty quiet from 11.30pm to 6.00am. Had to drive to get a decent evening meal in a pub.

Positive: Beds v comfortable. Liked the fruit for breakfast. Big plus having marmite for breakfast.
Negative: Room was a bit overcrowded. As to fumble to get the toaster plugged in.
Summary: Just what was needed for an early Stansted drop off and good value.

Positive: We really liked staying here. It is quirky and full of character. The hosts were excellent with communication and the help yourself breakfast was just great. Loved it.
Negative: Be useful to have the WiFi code on the laminated sheets.

Positive: The bed was large and comfy and the shower worked. The continental breakfast was good.
Negative: It was very tired and shabby with broken lamps. Tatty, dirty carpet that was curled up. A health and safety issue. I waited 45 mins after the check in time (4pm) as it wasn’t ready. The key lock was empty Shame I can’t show you the breakfast. That was nice. The maid tried her best to hurry up, she was lovely.
Summary: Needs updating and okay for one night.

Positive: Great contact before our stay and instructions for collecting key & checking in. Great room facilities comfortable bed, great to have complimentary water & nice tea & coffee facilities. Lovely room
Negative: The noise from traffic was loud as our room was close to the road old windows failed to keep cold and noise out. On arrival we found the room was very cold but it was January. Car parking spaces were predominently water swamped on the grass following heavy rain. Car park was poorly lit and no hard standing spaces left. We struggled for a long time to get the car out.
