Negative: We have stayed before at the white horse & have had no problems but this time we had no hot water in the morning for showers & they said coz it’s an old building & that everyone must have had a shower the same time, well that’s not good enough ,we waited 2 hours for water to get hot again & still no hot water at all, time to update your system then isn’t it, & we have a big concern as we are in the same room for 4 nights in July for a wedding let’s hope we don’t have the same problem again !!

Positive: Good bathroom, comfy bed, spacious room, good quality coffee and tea in room. Nice and warm. Staff friendly and helpful

Negative: Looking a little tired. Bedroom carpet seen better days. To be fair the decorators are making their way through. Breakfast not included and eggs royals from menu which we purchased was not the best: stale roll, Luke warm sauce, grey smoked salmon. Didn’t complain as we were in a rush so they might have put it right given the chance.

Summary: Adequate for a one night stay. Avoid breakfast.

Positive: Nice and friendly and clean and comfy room,although would have preffered not at the front over the tables outside and we needed a better Blackout blind as the lights stay on . The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well once the pub closed. We had breakfast and it was excellent would reccomend the food ,have eaten there a few times ,never dissapointef.Great service too. We will stay again as its a lovely pub/ hotel but maybe ask for a room further back.I guess when you book a dealits pot luck but will pay full next time.

Negative: The room was at the front of the hotel/pub so the black out wasnt sufficient and some guests were noisy

Positive: Breakfast and evening meal was lovely, all the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The bar service and restaurant were very nice with excellent service. nice room, would have been good to have a little fridge but otherwise excellent.

Summary: Nice rooms, comfortable, great pub downstairs!

Positive: The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was very confortable and there were black out curtains in the windows too. Just fab! The food was delicious, and the staff super friendly and accomodating.
