Positive: The suite was spacious with lovely furnishings and had even separate bathrooms (spacious shower and separate toilet). The staff ladies were very nice and friendly. We were informed about the history of the hotel - it's a former prison and you can see that in some parts. We got some restaurant recommendations. And the breakfast was lovely presented and delicious. With glutenfree and dairy-free options. Hudiksvall itself is very nice to visit.
Negative: I asked for a fiber duvet - instead of feathers. But they hadn't any. Some minor things: In the toilet-room was no separate towel the fridge was noisy - we switched it off for the night.

Positive: Our one night stay here en route to northern Sweden in December was a wonderful surprise. Our room (green room) had one of the most comfortable beds we had during our whole road trip and the room was beautifully equipped. We would say however that the description stated that the kitchenette included an oven and on that assumption we had bought Pizza. There was unfortunately only a microwave oven and so perhaps Booking.com might update their information. That aside the guesthouse surpassed all expectations, the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast by candlelight was the stuff that my dreams are made of. All in all a wonderful place to stay and we would love to visit again and stay longer.
Summary: A magical place to stay en route north for Christmas.

Positive: The hotel was ideally located within short walking distance to Hudiksvall’s town centre. If had foc parking with electrical charge points. Staff were wonderful, extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs. Room was lovely especially artwork and beds. Breakfast was extremely good and free coffee/tea was much appreciated.
Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like about the hotel and would recommend it to any type of traveler.
