Positive: The breakfast, served in our room, was good, liked the quality and taste. Even though the property was within 15 mins of town you felt isolated in a serene garden and trees. Very calming for our R&R stay. The Jacuzzi bath was nice to have in room. The pond has koi and the meadow has deer. If you rise in the early morning you might get to see them frolic in and out of the tree line. The bed was soothing even if it was slightly high for us old folks, lol. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in and out was done by text and digital code room entry. They were always timely in answering the phone and/or responding to a text message.

Negative: Would have preferred a regular coffee maker instead of the Kuerig. We had brought our own coffee for our multiple night stay and had to go buy a little four cup maker. There website only said coffee maker. The room stayed just tolerable in the August 100 degree temperatures. Our next stay will be a cooler month. We are older and stiffer, we made do, but if you have trouble with low toilet seats and high beds you might want to see if they have a room with handicap heights. We failed to do this. Spent a few dollars and bought a raised toilet seat after the first night.

Summary: A wonderful place to stay and will go again when we can.

Positive: The nostalgia in the country…calm and quaint. The discovery of the pond and the vineyard and the deer running through it.

Negative: It could be cleaner on the floor areas and the bathrooms. I like the fact the at it isn’t fully updated. It makes it cool. But some things could be like the shower doors sliding( I hate those….lol

Summary: Pleasantly peaceful and just what we needed with privacy. Would definitely come back!

Positive: We had dinner at the restaurant and it was outstanding! The chef did an amazing job and our food was delicious! The service was also exceptional!!

Negative: The rooms need to be updated and the rooms in the main house need to have their own thermostat control.
