Positive: The building exterior and the views are simply amazing.

Negative: We stayed in the apartment. There was litter in the courtyard. There was dirt in the windows, in the corners of the room, and food and other debris and dust under the chairs. The kettle was broken. The towel radiator was broken. No information on WiFi or was provided in the room or by reception so we had to go back to ask. Plates and cups dirty at breakfast and something was always missing - no coffee, then no cups, then no toast, etc. You needed plenty of time just to get the things you needed and sit down and eat.

Positive: Location beautiful and quiet, 20 min walk on a country footpath to town. Spa was an added bonus used the gym and pool. Had lovely view of the garden from our room which although more modern than our executive one suited us better with opening windows and more useable space.

Negative: The room was next to the bins and 7am,7.30 there were vans beeping- possibly delivery/ collection which were very disturbing. There were two pleasant and helpful bar staff but 2 rude ones and the gentleman at reception would not acknowledge our comments upon leaving of the noise- stating there were no service vehicles on bank holiday monday. He was simply focused on whether we had paid the bill.

Summary: Lovely building and spa, furniture a little run down and wear and tear plus stains on the sheets.
