Summary: Pleasantly surprised! Very clean, good staff, nice updated room and easy access to Merritt. Easy free parking too. One block away is one of the best coffee places in the area.

Summary: Well the hotel is clean and the staff friendly and the bed was comfortable. Really appreciate finding a hotel that does not have pancakes for pillows! These pillows were actually lofty and only one was needed to sleep. Now a couple of cons to write about… 2 of the 3 days the shower was lukewarm (at best) and quickly turned cold; both evening and morning. We’re not talking long showers either…standard 5 min showers to wash your hair, etc. Cold showers are no fun!!! They are very stingy about towels. We asked for extra towels because I have long hair and the room only comes with 2 towels for 2 people. I hung a towel on a hook in the bedroom to dry (there are no towel bars in the bathroom) and planned to wash my hair the next morning only to find out housekeeping took my 1 extra towel off the hook leaving my husband and I 1 towel each. Ugh! Who knew you must hid towels from housekeeping?! The bathroom is very dark! Painted black walls, 1 light over sink area, 1 light inside the shower and the mirror is backlit by a yellow/blue light- ladies plan on struggling to see to apply makeup. All of the other mirrors in the room are in shadows- lighting is awful. The music in the lobby is so loud it carries into the room each morning. And finally as others stated, the breakfast is not something to get excited about. Processed baked goods and literally Jimmy Dean Sausage/Muffin sandwiches you throw in a microwave. Needless to say we skipped the complimentary breakfast each morning.

Summary: The staff was friendly, room was clean, bed is a little hard for me. The lobby is pretty cool with all the wood decor. The train going by is alarming at first (if sleeping on the backside of the hotel).

Summary: Overall this was a superb stay. Great location for my trip, decent amenities. Was shocked, however, at the non existent internet. It was spotty at best, and mostly zero signal at all. There's no reason not to have solid and consistent internet in this day and age, so definitely should be addressed. Also the hotel promotes the morning breakfast and the in-room materials say "We'll bring a French Press to your room" - implying it was part of the included amenities. Was surprised at the charge for it at check out (especially since whoever prepared it clearly had never prepared a French Press before. The staff was superb - Jeiny, Erickah and Nia in particular. Ordered two meals from the Italian restaurant and both were delicious. Had them delivered to my room (lovely luxury) and want to especially recognize George on the staff there for his professionalism.

Summary: Staff is excellent. All are friendly, efficient, and very courteous. We stayed there when it was Hotel Zero several times, visiting family from out of state, and the Watershed re-do looks nice as well. The problem we have with the property is acoustics. First, because of how the lobby is built, the noise travels up to the other rooms, and it's a huge echo chamber (like John Bonham banging on the drums, loud). Second, the ceilings don't have enough (or any?) insulation, so the noise of the person above our room sounded like she weighed 5000 pounds in wooden clogs. If you bring ear-plugs, you'll be fine. Unfortunately, we will not return, because we need our sleep, and that can't happen there.

Summary: This place is lovely. I’m taking a star off because I COULD NOT GET ANY SOAP. I guess I’m supposed to reach in the shower and wash my hands with body wash but that didn’t work really well for me. The housekeeping staff was in the hallway and they searched their carts and storage room, but couldn’t find anything. It just seems weird.
