Summary: Staff were wonderful, food was amazing and the view was beautiful (would be an artist's dream). Hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable as we're the rooms.

Summary: Beautiful spot! The room was very spacious and peaceful, and clean and tidy. Very helpful and responsive hosts - messaging to inform about check-in and instructions of how to get in, which was all very helpful and very easy to do. Lovely staff at The Water's Edge, so friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely one night stay here during our trip to Donegal, would highly recommend. Many thanks.

Summary: Everything was very clean ,very comfortable, spacious.The Bar nd Restaurant so welcoming, all of the staff so welcoming nd v helpful. Can't say enough about the whole ambience of the place.

Summary: Room was quite basic but comfortable ...BUT...did not have any chair/s to sit on; did not have any refrigerator; the restaurant supposedly operating, was closed all the time; there were no staff on premises and Wotif did not respond to messages. A Zombie establishment in a pretty location.

Summary: The remote check in process was easy. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and mildew. The carpet was stained but clean, the bed was worn down. This property could use an update. The restaurant is not managed by the same company and wasn’t open when we were there.

Summary: I did not receive my check-in information until a few hours before check-in time and after emailing the hotel. This was quite disconcerting. The fact that it is a self check-in process was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. The pillows were too soft for my liking. The only toiletries in the bathroom were 6 or 8 small bottles of shampoo and a bottle of hand wash. Some shower gel would have been nice. Overall a good stay. It was lovely lying listening to the water when we opened the windows.

Summary: The location was beautiful, and the restaurant associated with the lodging was excellent. We had some problems with the toilet, but the owner called a repair person right away. In the morning, the Internet was down. It happens.

Summary: This property was very basic. We didn’t realise it was only air b no breakfast. Until Saturday morning. We wouldn’t have booked it if we had known. Code for doors, code for key.

Summary: 2nd stay here. No staff at all, works through messaging. Both times, it's been clean and we've slept very well. Very quiet hotel. Lovely view of the water. Comfy bed. Kids enjoy it.
