Positive: The room was much larger than I expected and well kitted out with a view to the river. The staff were super-friendly at check-in and at breakfast the next morning. Location is easy to get to and perfect for the O2 Arena - water taxi there and £7.50 Uber back. I only stayed there one night but would highly recommend - and if you enjoy a well-cooked start to the day, the Breakfast Burger is just exquisite! Will definitely use again for O2 gigs.

Negative: Not much to be honest. After-hours entry is via two back doors with different pin codes so make sure you keep them handy if you head out for the night - and the staircase is a bit iffy if you've had a few sherbets!

Summary: So much more than just a room above a pub!

Positive: We spent one night here and were very satisfied! We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but one of the friendly staff members kindly offered to store our backpacks, which was a great help. The room was nice and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was included in the price and was freshly prepared in the morning - it was delicious and we had several options to choose from. :) The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, with easy access to public transport (DLR, buses). As two girls traveling, we felt completely safe. I would happily stay here again if I need accommodation in this area!

Negative: Everything was great, but during the summer heat, the room also got quite warm. The fan helped a lot, and we were able to sleep at night. (There’s no mosquito net on the window, so keeping it open wasn’t really an option.) However, if someone is sensitive to heat, it might be worth considering a different place during the summer. It didn’t bother us, as we didn’t spend much time in the room, and at night we placed the fan close to the bed, which made it perfectly fine for us.

Summary: Nice room, great breakfast, pleasant neighborhood – ideal for a weekend stay.

Positive: The place is so close to Greenwich. Very calm and nice area. Staff was lovely from our arrival to our departure. Relaxing and great breakfast service. Bed and room was comfortable and quiet. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Positive: Good location, decent food on the whole

Negative: Juice could be available at breakfast ( though was provided when requested) More seating available rather than just in the bar which was mostly stools and benches which rocked unevenly. Felt a little like too many rules for guests for some reason, which made things seem less hospitable. My room was in need of some general maintenance in shower area and window was pretty rotten
